CPI falls in September of 2012 in Tanzania

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Tanzania in September of 2012 was 13.5%, 14 tenths less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.1%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2012 is 8.9%

We must highlight the increase of 4.4% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 16.5%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Miscellaneous goods and services of -0.5%, and an interannual variation of 8.3%.
