CPI falls in August of 2012 in Tanzania

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Tanzania in August of 2012 was 14.9%, 8 tenths less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.7%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2012 is 7.6%

We must highlight the increase of 2.6% in the prices of Alcoholic beverages and tobacco, until its interannual rate reached 20.4%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Transport of -1%, and an interannual variation of 3.8%.
