The annual variation rate of the CPI in El Salvador in August of 2022 was 7.7%, 3 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.5%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2022 is 5.5%

We must highlight the increase of 1.1% in the prices of Miscellaneous goods and services, until its interannual rate reached 8.6%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Alcoholic beverages and tobacco of -0.1%, and an interannual variation of 4.1%.
