In August, vehicle registrations in United Kingdom grew by 9.62% with respect to August of 2013. In total, 87,314 cars were registered and 2,761,628 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 11.45% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of August is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 15,151, 10.46% more than in August of 2013.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 72,163, which represents a figure of 9.44% more than in August of 2013.
