In January, vehicle registrations in United Kingdom grew by 7.29% with respect to January of 2013. In total, 174,778 cars were registered and 2,609,015 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 10.98% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of January is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 20,216, 4.97% more than in January of 2013.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 154,562, which represents a figure of 7.6% more than in January of 2013.
