In November, vehicle registrations in United Kingdom grew by 45.73% with respect to November of 2008. In total, 175,742 cars were registered and 2,184,632 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 13.32% less than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of November is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 17,660, 12.85% less than in November of 2008.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 158,082, which represents a figure of 57.56% more than in November of 2008.
