In March, vehicle registrations in Canada grew by 8.88% with respect to March of 1964. In total, 77,232 cars were registered and 729,931 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 5.91% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of March is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 11,278, 8.23% more than in March of 1964.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 65,954, which represents a figure of 8.99% more than in March of 1964.
