In May, vehicle registrations in Canada grew by 10.97% with respect to May of 1963. In total, 82,117 cars were registered and 702,755 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 16.83% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of May is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 11,662, 17.16% more than in May of 1963.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 70,455, which represents a figure of 10.01% more than in May of 1963.
