In August, vehicle registrations in Canada grew by 23.19% with respect to August of 1963. In total, 43,735 cars were registered and 727,360 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 18.6% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of August is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 6,320, 0.63% less than in August of 1963.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 37,415, which represents a figure of 28.39% more than in August of 1963.
