In April, vehicle registrations in Canada grew by 7.33% with respect to April of 1963. In total, 79,517 cars were registered and 694,639 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 15.32% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of April is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 11,415, 8.22% more than in April of 1963.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 68,102, which represents a figure of 7.18% more than in April of 1963.
