In 2016 Uzbekistan public debt was 6,341 million euros 7,019 million dollars, has increased 826900 million since 2015.
This amount means that the debt in 2016 reached 10.52% of Uzbekistan GDP, a 1.31 percentage point rise from 2015, when it was 9.21% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Uzbekistan debt. It has risen since 2006 in global debt terms, when it was 2,894 million euros 3,633 million dollars although it has fallen as a percentage of GDP, when it amounted to 20.97%.
According to the last data point published, Uzbekistan per capita debt in 2016 was 199 euros220 dollars per inhabitant. In 2015 it was 176 euros 196 dollars, afterwards rising by 23 euros24 dollars, and if we again check 2006 we can see that then the debt per person was 110 euros138 dollars .
The position of Uzbekistan, as compared with the rest of the world, has remained in 2016 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 8 in the list of debt to GDP and 14 in debt per capita, out of the 186 we publish.
