In 2021 Uzbekistan public debt was 21,518 million euros25,454 million dollars, has increased 1,7572,933 million since 2020.
This amount means that the debt in 2021 reached 36.78% of Uzbekistan GDP, a 0.82 percentage point fall from 2020, when it was 37.6% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Uzbekistan debt. It has risen since 2011 in global debt terms, when it was 2,742 million euros 3,812 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 6.33%.
According to the last data point published, Uzbekistan per capita debt in 2021 was 623 euros737 dollars per inhabitant. In 2020 it was 583 euros 664 dollars, afterwards rising by 40 euros73 dollars, and if we again check 2011 we can see that then the debt per person was 94 euros131 dollars .
The position of Uzbekistan, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2021 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 39 in the list of debt to GDP and 41 in debt per capita, out of the 190 we publish.
