In 2019 Ukraine public debt was 69,451 million euros77,757 million dollars, has increased 2,4971,348 million since 2018.
This amount means that the debt in 2019 reached 50.49% of Ukraine GDP, a 9.93 percentage point fall from 2018, when it was 60.42% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Ukraine debt. It has risen since 2009 in global debt terms, when it was 29,768 million euros 41,475 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 35.43%.
According to the last data point published, Ukraine per capita debt in 2019 was 1,664 euros1,863 dollars per inhabitant. In 2018 it was 1,595 euros 1,884 dollars, afterwards rising by 69 euros21 dollars, and if we again check 2009 we can see that then the debt per person was 650 euros906 dollars .
The position of Ukraine, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2019 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 99 in the list of debt to GDP and 78 in debt per capita, out of the 191 we publish.
