In 2016 Ukraine public debt was 68,474 million euros 75,794 million dollars, has increased 3,4593,660 million since 2015.
This amount means that the debt in 2016 reached 81.25% of Ukraine GDP, a 1.92 percentage point rise from 2015, when it was 79.33% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Ukraine debt. It has risen since 2006 in global debt terms, when it was 12,703 million euros 15,950 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 14.26%.
According to the last data point published, Ukraine per capita debt in 2016 was 1,614 euros1,787 dollars per inhabitant. In 2015 it was 1,527 euros 1,694 dollars, afterwards rising by 87 euros93 dollars, and if we again check 2006 we can see that then the debt per person was 273 euros343 dollars .
The position of Ukraine, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2016 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 153 in the list of debt to GDP and 80 in debt per capita, out of the 184 we publish.
