Kyrgyzstan - Religions

Islam is the Kyrgyzstan's top religion, around 80.02% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 98%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Kyrgyzstan population, has increase to 98%. As to Islam it has also increased, the previous survey recorded 72.29% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 80.02% follow it.

Christianity is the second most practiced religion in Kyrgyzstan, accounts for about 17.43% of the population.
