Sweden has a very high suicide rate compared to other countries.
Of the 1,566 recorded suicide cases in 1966, 1,145 were men suicides and 421 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 29.4 per 100,000 men and for women 10.8 per 100,000 female. In spite of this, it is one of the countries with the highest female suicide rate in the world.
