Zimbabweans CPI increased up to 224.8% year-on-year in June of 2022

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Zimbabwe in June of 2022 was 224.8%, 702 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 31.7%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2022 is 140.8%

We must highlight the increase of 41.4% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 152.7%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Education of 8.4%, and an interannual variation of 74.1%.
