Trinidadians CPI goes down to 0.4%

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Trinidad and Tobago in March of 2020 was 0.4%, 1 tenth less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.1%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2020 is 0.4%

We must highlight the increase of 0.7% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 1.2%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels of 0%, and an interannual variation of 0.8%.
