CPI falls in April of 2012 in Tanzania

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Tanzania in April of 2012 was 18.7%, 3 tenths less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.8%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2012 is 6.3%

We must highlight the increase of 2% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 16.2%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Education of 0%, and an interannual variation of 4.7%.
