Brazilians CPI goes down to 4.9%

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Brazil in April of 2012 was 4.9%, 1 tenth less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.6%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2012 is 1.7%

We must highlight the increase of 1% in the prices of Health, until its interannual rate reached 5.8%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Furniture, household equipment and maintenance of -0.9%, and an interannual variation of -1.7%.
