Brazilians CPI goes down to 6.1%

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Brazil in December of 2011 was 6.1%, 1 tenth less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.5%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2011 is 5.9%

We must highlight the increase of 1.1% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 6.3%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Furniture, household equipment and maintenance of -0.9%, and an interannual variation of 0%.
