In May, vehicle registrations in Luxembourg grew by 29.05% with respect to May of 2005. In total, 6,223 cars were registered and 54,587 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 3.84% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of May is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 401, 7.22% more than in May of 2005.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 5,822, which represents a figure of 30.89% more than in May of 2005.
