In June, vehicle registrations in Canada grew by 14.78% with respect to June of 1970. In total, 95,455 cars were registered and 835,595 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 0.16% less than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of June is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 16,968, 17.23% more than in June of 1970.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 78,487, which represents a figure of 14.26% more than in June of 1970.
