In March, vehicle registrations in Canada grew by 15.66% with respect to March of 1970. In total, 83,033 cars were registered and 781,413 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 10.32% less than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of March is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 13,756, 5.92% more than in March of 1970.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 69,277, which represents a figure of 17.81% more than in March of 1970.
