In February, vehicle registrations in Canada grew by 7.47% with respect to February of 1970. In total, 54,905 cars were registered and 770,173 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 13.1% less than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of February is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 8,642, 7.34% less than in February of 1970.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 46,263, which represents a figure of 10.78% more than in February of 1970.
