In August, vehicle registrations in Canada grew by 7.94% with respect to August of 1965. In total, 61,819 cars were registered and 830,321 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 6.64% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of August is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 10,400, 9.51% more than in August of 1965.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 51,419, which represents a figure of 7.62% more than in August of 1965.
