In October, vehicle registrations in Canada grew by 13.02% with respect to October of 1964. In total, 69,036 cars were registered and 784,763 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 5.76% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of October is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 9,111, 5.59% less than in October of 1964.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 59,925, which represents a figure of 16.51% more than in October of 1964.
