In March, vehicle registrations in Canada grew by 22.19% with respect to March of 1965. In total, 94,366 cars were registered and 862,089 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 18.11% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of March is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 14,484, 28.43% more than in March of 1965.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 79,882, which represents a figure of 21.12% more than in March of 1965.
