In December, vehicle registrations in Canada grew by 23.37% with respect to December of 1954. In total, 28,796 cars were registered and 465,678 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 21.71% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of December is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 4,987, 28.23% more than in December of 1954.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 23,809, which represents a figure of 22.39% more than in December of 1954.
