In December, vehicle registrations in Canada grew by 8.63% with respect to December of 1955. In total, 31,282 cars were registered and 499,921 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 7.35% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of December is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 5,914, 18.59% more than in December of 1955.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 25,368, which represents a figure of 6.55% more than in December of 1955.
