In 2022 Türkiye public debt was 272,444 million euros287,123 million dollars, has decreased 16,31054,626 million since 2021.
This amount means that the debt in 2022 reached 31.7% of Türkiye GDP, a 10.1 percentage point fall from 2021, when it was 41.8% of GDP.

In 2021 it was 3,410 euros 4,036 dollars, afterwards dropping by 215 euros 669dollars, and if we again check 2012 we can see that then the debt per person was 2,932 euros3,770 dollars .
The position of Türkiye, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2022 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 31 in the list of debt to GDP and 97 in debt per capita, out of the 191 we publish.
