In 2017 Mexico public debt was 553,786 million euros625,381 million dollars, has increased 95213,616 million since 2016.
This amount means that the debt in 2017 reached 53.96% of Mexico GDP, a 2.76 percentage point fall from 2016, when it was 56.72% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Mexico debt. It has risen since 2007 in global debt terms, when it was 285,747 million euros 391,656 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 37.21%.

In 2016 it was 4,505 euros 4,985 dollars, afterwards dropping by 40 euros 57dollars, and if we again check 2007 we can see that then the debt per person was 2,628 euros3,602 dollars .
The position of Mexico, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2017 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 110 in the list of debt to GDP and 125 in debt per capita, out of the 191 we publish.
