In 2021 Lithuania public debt was 24,536 million euros29,273 million dollars, has increased 1,4732,954 million since 2020.
This amount means that the debt in 2021 reached 43.4% of Lithuania GDP, a 2.8 percentage point fall from 2020, when it was 46.2% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Lithuania debt. It has risen since 2011 in global debt terms, when it was 11,629 million euros 16,184 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 37.1%.
According to the last data point published, Lithuania per capita debt in 2021 was 8,744 euros10,432 dollars per inhabitant. In 2020 it was 8,249 euros 9,414 dollars, afterwards rising by 495 euros1,018 dollars, and if we again check 2011 we can see that then the debt per person was 3,872 euros5,388 dollars .
