In 2023 Lithuania public debt was 27,558 million euros29,798 million dollars, has increased 1,8862,967 million since 2022.
This amount means that the debt in 2023 reached 38.3% of Lithuania GDP, a 0.2 percentage point rise from 2022, when it was 38.1% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Lithuania debt. It has risen since 2013 in global debt terms, when it was 13,551 million euros 17,996 million dollars although it has fallen as a percentage of GDP, when it amounted to 38.7%.
According to the last data point published, Lithuania per capita debt in 2023 was 9,645 euros10,429 dollars per inhabitant. In 2022 it was 8,985 euros 9,390 dollars, afterwards rising by 660 euros1,039 dollars, and if we again check 2013 we can see that then the debt per person was 4,604 euros6,114 dollars .
