In 2021 Lebanon public debt was 59,785 million euros70,758 million dollars, has increased 27,24133,616 million since 2020.
This amount means that the debt in 2021 reached 357.69% of Lebanon GDP, a 208.98 percentage point rise from 2020, when it was 148.71% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Lebanon debt. It has risen since 2011 in global debt terms, when it was 38,554 million euros 53,656 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 134.39%.
According to the last data point published, Lebanon per capita debt in 2021 was 10,689 euros12,651 dollars per inhabitant.
