In 2019 Croatia public debt was 39,374 million euros 44,080 million dollars, has increased 7621,521 million since 2018.
This amount means that the debt in 2019 reached 72.8% of Croatia GDP, a 1.5 percentage point fall from 2018, when it was 74.3% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Croatia debt. It has risen since 2009 in global debt terms, when it was 22,077 million euros 30,793 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 48.7%.
According to the last data point published, Croatia per capita debt in 2019 was 9,703 euros10,862 dollars per inhabitant. In 2018 it was 9,473 euros 11,187 dollars, afterwards rising by 230 euros325 dollars, and if we again check 2009 we can see that then the debt per person was 5,131 euros7,156 dollars .
The position of Croatia, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2019 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 147 in the list of debt to GDP and 150 in debt per capita, out of the 186 we publish.
