In 2016 Angola public debt was 68,767 million euros 76,118 million dollars, has increased 8,9839,787 million since 2015.
This amount means that the debt in 2016 reached 79.82% of Angola GDP, a 15.18 percentage point rise from 2015, when it was 64.64% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Angola debt. It has risen since 2006 in global debt terms, when it was 6,222 million euros 7,813 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 18.7%.
According to the last data point published, Angola per capita debt in 2016 was 2,387 euros2,642 dollars per inhabitant. In 2015 it was 2,251 euros 2,497 dollars, afterwards rising by 136 euros145 dollars, and if we again check 2006 we can see that then the debt per person was 306 euros384 dollars .
The position of Angola, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2016 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 151 in the list of debt to GDP and 99 in debt per capita, out of the 185 we publish.
