In 2017 Angola public debt was 74,134 million euros 83,750 million dollars, has increased 4,9927,217 million since 2016.
This amount means that the debt in 2017 reached 68.54% of Angola GDP, a 7.12 percentage point fall from 2016, when it was 75.66% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Angola debt. It has risen since 2007 in global debt terms, when it was 10,020 million euros 13,733 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 21.04%.
According to the last data point published, Angola per capita debt in 2017 was 2,489 euros2,812 dollars per inhabitant. In 2016 it was 2,400 euros 2,656 dollars, afterwards rising by 89 euros156 dollars, and if we again check 2007 we can see that then the debt per person was 476 euros652 dollars .
The position of Angola, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2017 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 137 in the list of debt to GDP and 99 in debt per capita, out of the 186 we publish.
