RTI Rating United Kingdom

The transparency law of United Kingdom has been in force since 2000 and with it has earned 99 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score United Kingdom is now ranked 42 in the transparency ranking formed by 136 countries, meaning it is among those that must improve its laws in order to guarantee access to information.

This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
