Hungary at No. 65 in ranking of transparency

The transparency law of Hungary has been in force since 1992 and with it has earned 86 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Hungary is now ranked 65 in the transparency ranking formed by 136 countries, meaning it is among those that must improve its laws in order to guarantee access to information.

This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
