GDP grows 4.9% in Iceland

Gross Domestic Product of Iceland grew 4.9% in 2018 compared to last year. This rate is 7 -tenths of one percent higher than the figure of 4.2% published in 2017.

The GDP figure in 2018 was €22,238$26,264 million, Iceland is number 105 in the ranking of GDP of the 196 countries that we publish. The absolute value of GDP in Iceland rose €320$1,536 million with respect to 2017.

The GDP per capita of Iceland in 2018 was €63,050$75,374, €780$2,289 less than in 2017, when it was €63,830$73,085.
