The price of electricity rises in Italy

The average price of electricity in Italy, in December of 2021, has been 0.236€ per kilowatt hour. Electricity price has increased € 0.0101 kWh, 4.47% since the previous semester. Meanwhile, the average price of electricity without taxes in Italy in that period was € 0.176 per kilowatt hour, compared to € 0.1432 kWh in the previous semester. The price of electricity excluding taxes increased by 22.91%.

In the last twelve months the price of electricity in Italy has increased by 32.23%.

In Italy, the price of electricity reached its maximum price, € 0.245kWh, in June of 2015. Its minimum price was €0.192 kWh, corresponding to December of 2010.
