Estonia, maintains its electricity among the cheapest in Europe

The average price of electricity in Estonia, in June of 2009, has been 0.0922€ per kilowatt hour. Electricity price has increased € 0.0072 kWh, 8.47% since the last semester. Meanwhile, the average price of electricity without taxes in Estonia in that period was € 0.0712 per kilowatt hour, compared to € 0.067 kWh in the previous semester. The price of electricity excluding taxes increased by 6.27%.

In the last twelve months the price of electricity in Estonia has increased by 11.42%.

From 2007 until now, the highest price of electricity in Estonia has been € 0.0922 kWh, in June of 2009, while in December of 2007, electricity price was € 0.0786 kWh, its minimum price in this period.

Estonia is the second country in Europe with the cheapest electricity.
