Suicides fell in Serbia

By 2015, suicides in Serbia increased by 70 people to at 1,064 suicides On average, there are 3 suicides per day.

Of the 1,064 recorded suicide cases in 2015, 795 were men suicides and 269 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 23.04 per 100,000 men and for women 7.39 per 100,000 female.

Statistics show that in 2014, suicides were the main cause of unnatural death in the world. In Serbia suicide also is one of the leading causes of unnatural death. By comparison, there were 100 homicides in Serbia, the number of suicides far outnumber homicides. For every homicide there were 10.6 suicides.
