Japan has a very high suicide rate

Japan, has a relatively low rate of suicide per inhabitants.

Of the 15,490 recorded suicide cases in 1963, 8,923 were men suicides and 6,567 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 18.7 per 100,000 men and for women 13.3 per 100,000 female. In spite of this, it is one of the countries with the highest female suicide rate in the world.
