Growth of believers and Shinto in Japan

The majority religion in Japan is Shinto, with 84.74% adherents. A very hight percentage of population, 90.5%, are religious in Japan.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Japan population, has increase to 90.5%. As to Shinto it has also increased, the previous survey recorded 83.74% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 84.74% follow it.

The second-largest religion in Japan is Buddhism, accounts for about 69.07% of the population.
