The annual variation rate of the CPI in Venezuela in May of 2015 was 87.5%, 39 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 8%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2015 is 36.8%

We must highlight the increase of 16.9% in the prices of Alcoholic beverages and tobacco, until its interannual rate reached 161.2%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Education of 1.5%, and an interannual variation of 66.2%.
