Venezuela: CPI goes up in April of 2014

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Venezuela in April of 2014 was 61.5%, 22 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 5.7%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2014 is 16.3%

We must highlight the increase of 8.3% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 82.3%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Communication of 0.7%, and an interannual variation of 10%.
