Uganda: CPI goes up in August of 2019

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Uganda in August of 2019 was 1.9%, 1 tenth higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.5%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2019 is 1.5%

We must highlight the increase of 1.5% in the prices of Health, until its interannual rate reached 2.6%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Alcoholic beverages and tobacco of -0.2%, and an interannual variation of 1.2%.
