Tanzanians CPI increased up to 4.4% year-on-year in June of 2022

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Tanzania in June of 2022 was 4.4%, 4 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.5%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2022 is 3.8%

We must highlight the increase of 1.7% in the prices of Transport, until its interannual rate reached 8.9%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Communication of -0.1%, and an interannual variation of 0.5%.
