March of 2019 CPI went up in Tanzania

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Tanzania in March of 2019 was 3.1%, 1 tenth higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.4%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2019 is 3.1%

We must highlight the increase of 3.1% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 13%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Recreation and culture of 0.1%, and an interannual variation of 0.3%.
