Pakistan: CPI goes up in August of 2022

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Pakistan in August of 2022 was 27.3%, 24 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 2.5%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2022 is 18.8%

We must highlight the increase of 6.3% in the prices of Recreation and culture, until its interannual rate reached 21.8%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Transport of -0.3%, and an interannual variation of 63.1%.
